Marking the centenary of the birth of György Kurtág and Hans Werner Henze, the Quinteto Cuesta traces a journey through some of the milestones of the wind repertoire of the 20th and 21st centuries. The programme brings into dialogue the expressive intensity of Kurtág and the timbral richness of Henze with the innovative writing of José Manuel López-López and the rhythmic energy of György Ligeti's Six Bagatelles.
