Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra & Bomsori

The Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Jaap van Zweden, opens its programme with Inferno (2025) by Jung Jae-il, the composer known for the soundtracks of Parasite and Squid Game: an orchestral work in four movements inspired by Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities, commissioned by the orchestra itself. The programme is completed by Mozart's Symphony No. 40, Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto with violinist Bomsori as soloist, and Respighi's Pines of Rome.
