The relationship between a man and a woman has ended. Now they stand face to face. He speaks first, while she listens attentively. Then she speaks and he receives, also in silence, her words. The dissection of a shared story. It began as a play by French playwright Pascal Rambert, premiered at the Festival d'Avignon in 2011 and performed in more than twenty countries. Now it arrives as a world premiere within Ópera a quemarropa, transformed into a chamber opera by Spanish company Teatro Xtremo, in co-production with the Auditorio de Tenerife. Music, song and scenic experimentation shape this piece that places the audience at the centre of a lovers' combat, between voice and body, between rupture and beauty.
