Discover the music to come

Since its creation in 2014, Frames Percussion has quickly become one of the most active and interesting groups in southern Europe, receiving the prestigious Ensemble Prize from the German music foundation Ernst von Siemens in 2024. Once again in the Auditori's programming, Frames presents one of the great works of the percussion repertoire: Pléïades by Iannis Xenakis. Composed in 1978 for six percussionists, it is one of Xenakis's most virtuoso works. Divided into four movements, each explores a specific timbre or percussive material: brass, skins, reeds, or a combination of all of them.
