The Cuarteto Quiroga and baritone José Antonio López present a programme centred on Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, the 'Spanish Mozart' (Bilbao, 1806 – Paris, 1826), composer of three exceptional string quartets written at age fifteen. The evening frames Arriaga's Quartet No. 1 in D minor and Quartet No. 3 in E-flat major around a world premiere: Revés (2026), commissioned by the CNDM from Spanish composer Israel López Estelche for baritone and string quartet.
