Biography:
Pablo Andrés (Alcalalí, 1995) studied the Degree in Composition at the Joaquín Rodrigo Conservatori Superior de Música de València (2020-2024), with teachers such as Marc Garcia Vitoria and Voro García. During his training he completed an Erasmus stay at the Haute école de musique de Genève-Neuchâtel (2022-2023), where he worked with Michael Jarrell, Luis Naón and Ariadna Alsina. He has premiered works in venues such as the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències de València, the Center Cultural La Beneficència and the Haute école de musique, where Just Breathe was presented. His work Le cauchemar sonore was programmed at the Geneva Archipel Festival with an acousmonium of more than eighty speakers, and La nef des fous marked a key point in its production. In 2024 he participated in the Académie Voix Nouvelles of the Fondation Royaumont, creating a collective opera under the supervision of Francesco Filidei, Sivan Eldar and Bernhard Lang. That same year he premiered Iso(lament), for percussion and multimedia trio, with the support of the Institut Valencià de Cultura. Her career has been enriched by classes and meetings with composers such as Hèctor Parra, Reiko Yamada, Agustí Charles, Gilbert Nouno and Olga Kokcharova. Likewise, he has participated in festivals and meetings such as Mixtur, Archipel, Mostra Sonora, Rafelfestival and Ensems. His work has been recognized with the “Manuel de Falla” Prize for Musical Creation from the University of Granada (2024) and with a scholarship from the SGAE to expand international studies. For the 2025-2026 season he has received commissions from the Fondation Royaumont and the Mostra Sonora Sueca.
