About the ensemble:
Founded in Geneva in June 2025, the ensemble La Musique Vibrante was created as a platform dedicated to contemporary creation and the exploration of new sonorities. The group made its official debut in March 2026 at the Haute École de Musique de Genève with the programme Chants d'un présent incertain, a proposal that reflects on the fragility of the present through sound. Its repertoire combines the strength of established masters such as Kaija Saariaho (Changing Light, Die Aussicht) and Toru Takemitsu (Toward the Sea) with a firm commitment to the new generation of creators. In this regard, they have premiered works by young composers such as Pablo Andrés and Florencia Novoa, as well as performing pieces by leading figures of the current Swiss scene such as Xavier Dayer. With a versatile line-up notable for the interaction between voice and chamber instruments, the ensemble seeks to bring avant-garde music closer to audiences with a fresh and committed approach. Its next artistic milestone will be its participation in the Fête de la Musique de Genève in June 2026, where it will once again present its founding programme in a context of great urban visibility.
